Award-winning poets Ashley M. Jones and Jahman Hill will join Miles College faculty members as they discuss African American poets and their contributions to American society in a virtual discussion. Kerry D. Brackett will be the moderator and join Miles College faculty members L'Oreal Moore-Bridges and Miquelle L Jones, who will contribute to the discussion. Members of the Golden Word Movement will perform poetry readings as well.
