This month the group will be reading, "African American Poetry: 250 Years Of Struggle & Song" edited by Kevin Young
The group will discuss one of the major themes in the volume: "Black Identities: Self Assertion and Self Protection" with a particular focus on Nikki Giovanni & Lucille Clifton's work. The discussion leaders will be Denyse Leslie and Rozlyn Flood.
